METAPHORS:

1. Without using the name Lipa so that those who are not residents will not feel alienated, the club will nonetheless still be based in Lipa. The 'coffee mill' alludes to Lipa City's rich history; and use of the word 'royal' further recognizes this history by encapsulating the role of the city in the production of the finest coffee for His Royal Majesty the King of Spain during the colonial era. This in no way places the colonial era on a pedestal nor signifies a colonial mentality; but simply recognizes and promotes the city's traditional role as producer of the finest coffee not only in the country but the entire world.

2. Coffee, in this regard, becomes the metaphor for PLAYERS. The mill, or 'molinillo,' is thus where the players are produced. Because Lipa has always been known to be a producer of the finest coffee, it naturally follows that ACF Molinillo intends to produce the finest players not only in the city but the entire country.

NATURE: ACF Molinillo will begin life as a weekend football club. The formation of football teams for competition is a future consideration.
