ACF Real Molinillo Finishes 3rd in 2012 Nuvali Cup

ACF Real Molinillo fielded two teams in the 2012 Nuvali Cup.

ACF Real Molinillo field two teams in the 2012 edition of the Nuvali Cup, held on 16 September 2012 in Sta. Rosa, Laguna. The tournament was a one-day festival held at the Nuvali grounds.

Both teams made the quarterfinals; but the younger Team 1 could not progress further than this stage.

The more seasoned players of Team 2, however, were worthy of a semi-final place and actually led a team from Batangas City on Eldrich de Villa's opening goal before conceding two goals late in the match. The team eventually finished third.

While the third place finish was a tremendous achievement for the fledgling club, in truth the atrocious conditions made football impossible to play for any of the teams. A low-pressure area which passed the day before had rendered the football fields seas of mud on which the football could not roll or bounce.
