Team Belgium, Team Germany Win on Last Day of Molinillo League Season 1

There was plenty of action on the last day of the inaugural season of the ACF Real Molinillo League when Team Belgium confirmed its status as champions with an 8-4 victory over Team England. Team Belgium finished the season with 64 points, 19 ahead of second-placed Team Republic of Ireland.

Team Republic of Ireland eventually finished with 45 points after losing its final game to Team Germany, 2-4. With the victory, Team Germany finished with 44 points, just one behind Team Republic of Ireland.

Team England finished at the bottom of the league, having gained only 18 points from 30 matches. The team only won five matches in the entire season, two of them in the homestretch.

With the league concluded, action shifts to the inaugural ACF Molinillo Cup next week. Team Belgium will face Team England while Team Germany will again square off with Team Republic of Ireland in a two-legged semi-final. The winners of the two ties will clash in a one-game final.
